Debra has over 25 years of experience as a practice manager and joined the practice in 2015. Debra is available 5 days a week and is happy to deal with any of your queries about the practice.

Rebecca Gadeke

Rebecca joined the practice in October 2021 and has worked in general practice for the last 5 years. Rebecca is here to engage with patients and ensure staff are trained to the highest level in order for us to offer you the best service possible.

Practice Nurse

Rachel Birch

Rachel joined the team at Moorside in December 2021. She brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in various chronic disease management including diabetes, asthma, COPD to name but a few. She is also highly trained to treat minor ailments and is able to prescribe independantly as necessary.

Rachel runs many clinics including childhood immunisations and vaccinations, cervical smear sampling and travel vaccinations 

Health Care Assistant

Rebecca Hainsworth

Becky joined the practice in April 2022, she is new to general practice, yet brings with her a wealth of knowledge and skills from working in other healthcare settings. She will be performing patient reviews such as new patient health checks, hypertension reviews and rheumatoid arthritis reviews, alongside B12 injections, pnuemonia and shingles vaccinations and bloods.

Claire is also a member of our reception team. She is trained to take blood from children and adults, Claire can also take blood pressure readings, height and weight.

Business Support Administrator

Nicola Mugan

Nicola supports the practice team with administration, dealing with solicitors reports, subject access requests, medical reporting and all other contact with outside agencies.

Beckie Peel

Assists the practice manager on recall of all patients with chronic diseases, ensuring they have regular monitoring. She also oversees data quality within the practice.

Our reception team are highly trained and will ask you for a brief reason for your contact with the surgery, this is so they can signpost you to the most efficient person/service to deal with your query or problem. Please remember you may not always need to see a doctor so please accommodate this request. Our reception team receive excellent feedback from our patients and are always happy to help you.

Please be reassured that our reception staff have been highly trained in over 30 modules covering a variety of skills in order for them to assist you upon contact with the practice, the training includes patient confidentiality, GDPR, patient safety, safeguarding, customer services, signposting, red flags, Information governance and are also trained in basic life support.
